How do we turn on the tv screen in our GMC Yukon to watch a dvd?

It doesn’t seem to work. We pushed all of the buttons. We can turn on the dvd player, and the VCR, and they turn on, but we can’t get any picture on the overhead tv screen. Nothing else seems to work. Any pointers?

It doesn’t seem to have anything in the owners manual related to the dvd system. Maybe it was a custom install, we don’t know. It’s a used vehicle, so maybe the previous owners installed it. Anyone else have a similar setup? Yukon XL 2002 with a dvd/vhs entertainment system?

Car towed after an accident. Have you had trouble getting your stuff back?

We are getting ready to pick up our stuff from our towed car. When I spoke to them on the phone, they reviewed the inventory and denied having things like cell phone blu tooth, case, TV remote, the black folding shopping cart. Is it likely that they don’t inventory everything or don’t look under seats, etc. What is your experience?
I just came back and remarkedly everthing that I had in the car was still there. They even helped me remove the plate. By the way, the Police decided where to tow, not me. This tow company is a member of the BBB: Frontier in Tucson

Automotive terms.definitions ?

Well I was watching car reviews on TV and they use terms like the car has a 4.6 litre V8 engine generating 457 break horse power and generates 2000 torques. (pardon my figures …..not real) So I was confused and basically blank .
