How is the ATI All-in-Wonder X800 XT? Are there alternatives?

I am looking for a combination video card/TV capture card for my old PC, to use as a PVR, on an AGP slot, preferablly with TV output as well. I am thinking about the ATI AIW 800 XT/AGP. Are there any good alternatives?

I have an older dell (Dimensions 4500, 2.53GHZ). ATI recommends this card or the ATI AIW-2006AGP, but that card had incredibly bad ratings on Amazon.

The X800XT has questionable reviews on Amazon(http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006BC57O/ref=sr_11_1/103-5135885-7387029?%5Fencoding=UTF8).

Is there any alternatives, like NVIDIA or other companies?

    If you prefer ATI then that would be a good ideea. The fact that it has low rating on amazon it’s only because this video processor is 1-2 years old, and will soon dissapear from the market. If you want an opinion I don’t say that this modell has nothing to give, on the contrary! I saw what this processor is capable of and it’s worth buying it!
    The alternative for ATI is nVidia, of course. From GeForce 6600 to 7800 (the newest processor compatible with AGP)… Depending on what you want from it. X800 XT compares with 6800 GT, but unfortunately it has lower performaces than it, but nothing that you’ll recognize during today’s games!
