Ok somone broke in my home and I need to know is my stuff covered under insurance. Problem is I bought the laptop in my brothers name. Because when I was 17 I didn’t have any credit to purchase it. And my lcd tv is in my name but my mom is a co-signer for it. Does these things has to be in the home insurance owner name to be covered. I called the insurance company she said it takes 48 hours for me to speak to someone in regard to that. So I need to know is this true.

If a flat screen LCD TV is advertised as a 46 tv, how do they come up with that measurement? Is that measuring the viewing area only or the entire tv, including the sides around the viewing screen? Do you measure horizontally or diagonally?
